Accessorize. February 21

Well, this day I thought I would choose some special items. The necklace is just a stretchy band with some beads on it. Doesn't sound too special? Well, my son used some of his money and went to a garage sale around the corner from our home. He brought me back this necklace. I couldn't believe how thoughtful that was. He said he knew how I loved jewelry. Awww. The watch is from my other son. He picked it out for me for Christmas one year because he thought I would love to wear it on our boat.

The earrings were a gift from my husband many years back, and the ring I made for myself. :) Awesome stuff

Oh, This combination turned out great. I chose my Brighton jewelry necklace, my silver band Anne Klein watch, 3 bangle bracelets with turquoise coloring, these are from my resale store. Other accessories are available via Shoplocket here on the blog.  Also, I found some small silver earrings in my drawer and I thought they matched pretty well.

Today I wore my Anne Klein watch with the silver band, silver with a twist earrings from Lia Sophia, my Brighton bracelet and an awesome necklace that was a gift.
The necklace is a long sterling silver chain with a heart pendant. The pendant has a picture of my boys etched on it. I love it so much. What a wonderful gift. (look below for a close-up of the charm)

Accessorized. February 15

Here is what I wore on February 15th. Love this Anne Klein watch that my Mom gave me, my usual gold earrings that I probably wear too much, and a brown and green beaded necklace that I made a while ago.

Check out my Etsy shop for some great jewelry at amazing prices.
I also have some other accessories in an online shop called shoplocket. Some of those items I didn't make.
I always wanted to have an accessory store well, I don't have a brick and mortar store so I opened an online accessory store.
I'm starting small but with your help I hope to grow.

Accessorize. February 12

On February 12 I wore my Anne Klein silver watch, a bracelet from my husband that has X's as the connectors. I also wore black flower style earrings; I have no idea where I got them from. And lastly, I wore a necklace that I did make with Swarovski pearls in light blue, purple, silver and glitter shades. I don't have any like it in the shop but I do have so many other really great things. Thanks for the support.

Here is the necklace below.

I also had the Lia Sophia earrings that I purchased a few months ago. And lastly, I picked a necklace that I made. I hadn't wore it in a while so I was glad to dig it out.

Accessorize. February 4

Here are the accessories that I wore on Monday, February 4. The watch is new. My Mother bought it for me while on vacation in Florida. I love the little heart charm that hangs off the watch.  I made the necklace. It's sterling silver with a copper swarovski pearl. The earrings were a gift from a friend. The bracelet is braided leather and suede with a magnetic clasp. The bracelet is available in the shop.

Here is a shot of the necklace. :)

Accessorize. February 3

Here is what I chose to wear on Sunday, February 3rd. Super bowl Sunday. I baked cookies and headed off to work. The recipe will be posted soon. I wore a white Fossil watch (gift). I also wore a shamballa style bracelet that I purchased last year when I saw it on the Today show's steals and deals. I bought a bunch for Christmas gifts and a few for myself. I have some available in my shop that are just amazing.
I also wore a lovely pair of gun metal earrings from Lia Sohpia. It was again a situation where I was purchasing some Christmas gifts and picked up a few pairs of earrings for me :)
Finally, the necklace is from the Tori Spelling collection at JoAnns. I picked two pieces and used the jump rings to put it together. Simple.

Here is the look of the necklace.

New Pendant Necklaces

It is tricky to work on jewlery during the summer with the kids home. We go places and I watch them swim for hours like now. We also spend as much time as we
at our house on Chautauqua Lake. So I actually have some new necklaces to show and sell very soon in my shop at etsy. They are lampwork glass pendants on cotton cord. They are very lovely and perfect for everyday.

Please check there soon.

Hope you like them.

Spring and Color

I figured with spring just around the corner. I thought I would make a few items that were colored inspired. It is always fun to add something new to your wardrobe when the seasons change. How about some great handmade jewelry to jump start your spring/summer clothes.

The first college of photos are on the more neutral side. Silver dangle earrings with window style beads, white round mother-of-pearl earrings, beautiful metal flower dangles. All of the earrings here have sterling silver ear wires. The necklace features hearts and a key charms with red beads. Check out my Etsy shop.

Here is the first set of colored items in the shop. Turquoise stones are just perfect for spring and into summer. Pair these beautiful pieces with something pink or brown or cream. There are really so many options.

These are also new to the shop. Enjoy green for spring. Think of a beautiful rolling lawn looking down at a lake with a light breeze blowing your hair, just a bit. These are the perfect summer pair of earrings and necklace to go with a nice summer dress or blazer for the office.

Wedding Jewelry ~ follow-up

The wedding is over. All the planning, the stress and even the honeymoon are all behind now. I am still very grateful for the opportunity to make the bridesmaids jewelry. I saw some pictures from the wedding, the weather was perfect and everyone looked just beautiful, especially the bride.

Here are a couple of photographs of the bridesmaids and the jewelry that I made for them. I really think it matches the dresses nicely.

I saw a picture of the flower girl and she is just adorable. Her jewelry is a little bit different. Her necklace has a smaller dangle and the earrings were just coin pearls on small sterling silver studs. Just perfect for her.

Thanks to the bride for including MyMichelle Jewelry on her special day.

xo

Wishing the newly married couple many, many years of wedded bliss.

The String Collection

I created a little something that I call the "String Collection". Here is a photo collage to show the design. I first made 10 of these necklaces and took them to a jewelry party a friend hosted to feature My Michelle Jewelry. The party turned out to be a success and I also think that the string necklaces turned out great and seemed to be very popular. I sold 6 of the 10 that I took to the party.

Yeah!!! I was very proud and excited to show the jewelry off. Check out these necklaces and more at MyMichelleJewelry.etsy.com. These are one-of-a-kind necklaces because I can't always find the same beads and string and I hope to have them all in the shop soon.
